Question 16: On October 7, 2010 the National Union of Healthcare Workers posted a cash appeal bond in the amount of $892,829.08 with the United States District Court for the Northern District of California pending outcome of a case currently on appeal.

Question 17: Case No. 09-CV-0404 WHA in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California; claimant Service Employees International Union, et al. Judgment was entered against the National Union of Healthcare Workers in the amount of $724,000 in April 2010. In October 2010 NUHW posted bond with the court in the amount of $892.829.08 which was 125% of the judgment less the amount already levied in satisfaction of the judgment, as required by the court.
