Question 17: The collective bargaining agreement that includes participation in the Western States Office and Professional Employees Pension Fund was amended December 31, 2016. Effective January 1, 2017 IBEW Local 483 will no longer make regular contributions to this plan. A final withdrawal liability has not been determined as of December 31, 2018. The Plan issued a Notice of Withdrawal Liability on August 23, 2018. IBEW Local 483 has filed a formal dispute of the calculated withdrawal liability and request for arbitration. A liability of $204,441 has been recorded during the year ended December 31, 2018, of which $8,400 was paid prior to December 31, 2018.
